//flip.phone.future

Here's another one of those future envisioning exercises that I love so much.  This is a video about creativity featuring a concept Flip Phone designed by Kristian Ulrich Larsen.  I found it on an article on Yanko Design, which has more photos of the phone concept.

//knowing versus knowing a name

I thought this was a great video snippet of Richard Feynman talking about the difference of knowing the name of something versus actually knowing something.  I wish there was more of this kind of thinking exercise and deeper understanding of in the world.

//captive princesses

College Humor shows us a little conversation between Princess Peach and Princess Zelda that explains how these two somehow get kidnapped all the time.

You know, Mario and Link are awfully good at the rescuing princesses part, but maybe they need to work on their defense a little bit.

Ah, the Wonder Twins... there are only so many forms of water you can turn into before it just gets boring and sad.  In these "New Adventures of the Wonder Twins", we can see why they never made it big like Superman and Wonderwoman.

I know I'm a little behind here, but I thought this was a good recap of the crazy of the last year.  It is from Tom Tomorrow of This Modern World; check out that link for more of his strips.

//transformers:the furniture

What do you get a Decepticon with a small apartment? This furniture from Resource Furniture is a cool, stylish set of pieces that transforms to save you space.  I think the pieces look great, and are definitely resourceful and innovative.  I kind of wonder how well they would stand the test of time, or if the frequent transformations would weaken them.

//new:yogi

Wow, now I may actually want to see that new Yogi Bear movie. Intense!

Actually, it is just a clever fan parody mashing up "Yogi Bear" with "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". What an obvious pairing!
