Oh man, this is dorky, cheesy, probably going to have a lot of unintentional laughs, but an awesome, awesome idea!  The Star Wars Uncut project is breaking the original movie into 15 second intervals and allowing fans to claim and recreate those intervals in any way they want.  When all are done, they will string it all together into a patchwork recreation of “Star Wars”.  I can’t wait to see the result!
